I look at this portrait and see a man who had a vision and wanted to express this to everyone..He did what he loved and shared this with us although for a short time. I think Ronnie is still sharing his concerns, just a glance here and that is plain to see...To be part of something is to feel it, and we can't help but feel when we listen to the songs that the man put out there for us. To go deeper into what is there and put meaning to music was the magic Ronnie gave us.
I sometimes wonder what could have been if only Ronnie was not takin from us when he was. I just feel we missed out on ALOT of musical meaning from the man......... When Johnny joined in and started sharing his own magic, my heart was once again warmed and my need for the sweet southern sound that gets me movin was back. Although in his own way, Johnny has brought back what Ronnie saw..Yesterdays' thoughts on today. Keep it comin.

As we look deeper....Into the eyes of the man who got this thing started we might just see his pain and concern, this is the kind of thing that sparks creativness and puts lyrics down so we (SKYNYRD FANS) can enjoy the music....Although I love Ronnie, I can't say enough about Johnny and his lyrics that keep me rockin and goin in a positive direction today...KEEP IT COMIN...

I think the portrait is as close as one could ever be ,considering it was created from old photographs and the personal memories of his own brother ,you have to rember its a portrait ,not a photo I think its great ,anything that carries on Ronnie's legacy is special .Its a shame that he's not here to tell us what he thinks about it GOD BLESS SKYNYRD NATION

It does not look like Ronnie at all, however,I don't think it is supposed to.It's simply a tribute.

Michael, Amazing portrait and tribute to Mr. Ronnie Van Zant! You are a true artist! I have been working on drawings the past several months for the cruise. I hope that I may have an opportunity to share them with you and the band members. My drawings are not close to the quality of your portraits, but I love Skynyrd and find great peace when drawing.
Happy Holidays!
See you on the cruise next month!
