Dear Lynyrd Skynyrd

The Nassau County Correction Officer’s Tug of War Team cordially invites you to spend a night with a hero. On July 26, 2013 Nassau County Correction Officers will be battling for their 4th consecutive championship against Suffolk County Correction Officers.
This year Nassau County Correction Officers will be honoring a Long Island hero. Military veteran Christopher Levi of Holbrook lost both of his legs to a roadside bomb while serving in Iraq.
Please come join us as we welcome Chris and his family to The Long Island Police Tug of War Championship. Immediately following the Correction Officer event we will have a summer picnic in Chris’s honor. This will take place next to the band shell located at Jones Beach parking field #4.
We look forward to seeing you Friday July 26, 2013 @ 5:30 p.m.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact Correction Officer Brian Thomas at (631) 897-6808 or Tug of War Team Leader Ray Cotto at (516) 572-3771.

Thank you for your support,

Brian Thomas
