Could the Band please put this on for their NZ fans, after 40 years of waiting, and probably the one & only time they ever perform in New Zealand, it would be extremely gracious of the Guys to reward their loyal & longtime fans with an opportunity to meet them

After 30 years of waiting I finally had a dream come true by seeing Skynyrd live at Matakana in New Zealand. Anyone who is wanting to get to their shows in Queenstown and Australia, BUY YOUR TICKETS!

They rocked my world! Lisa2110 yes they did the classics and you won't be disappointed with the selection. They are so tight live that it sounds just like the albums that we have been listening to for years.

I also achieved a secondary dream by seeing Ricky Medlock as a lead guitarist with the band. I have been a huge Blackfoot fan for years as well. And he is just awesome.

Thank you Lynyrd Skynyrd for coming all this way and I hope you realize what a huge fanbase you have down-under and please come back!

Hi Lisa, yes the show was awesome. Our little amphitheatre was packed out with 16,000 fans and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves despite the rain. They played all the oldies and one from there new album. Managed to get about 10 metres from the stage and had a good view. If you get up the front on the left side of the of the stage sparky threw out loads of picks and the odd t shirt. Johnny Van Zant did not throw his NZ personalised leather vest out into the crowd though (I wonder what he does with it after the concerts). I hope you enjoy yourself, in fact I know you will.
