has anyone else tried to purchase tickets for these dates -you get some weird message about seats have not being assigned & if the venue chooses to -it will be first come -first serve,just like general admisson,I thought that that was no longer legal & I sure don't think I want to pay almost $300.00 for tickets & then hope I get a seat somewhere in the city LOL - I thought with the Fan Club ,certain seats were set aside ?

General Admission certainly is not illegal, half the shows I go to are GA.

TIX are $300 ? My God, surely those are VIP passes for the whole family and free shirts and beer too.

I hear you--last time they were around here tix were like $20-$25.

I didn't say the tickets were $300 -I said it would cost me that to purchase the number of tickets I need @ 75 a piece-but since I have no idea about where i'd be sitting -we are gonna pass& go for the March 13th show-where the venue only seats 2500 or so & I know where i will sit LOL but Thanks for the info anyway

=roadfatigue said:@lakewinnie: Sorry, I was answering SouthernCross.

I was just being sarcastic about the VIP passes and free beer, shirts etc. I'm just saying that $75 per ticket is too high for me, that's all.

@SouthernCross: I agree -especially since it is unknown seats-I admit I have paid a lot for premium seats,like in 1,2 ,3 row-but after all the money we have spent over the years -I think we should get free beer -private sky box etc LOL-I enoy seeing the concerts & stuff especially since i am now taking our 11 yr old & introducing him to concerts

@lakewinnie:

I agree wholeheartedly. I'm sure that if it wasn't a part of Hannity's Freedom thing tix would be a lot cheaper, maybe later in the year I'll get to see them.

My boy is 14 now and I introduced him to concerts at about age 11 as well ( I think), maybe 10. It's cool to see him appreciate the same type of tunes I like--good music is good music, regardless of how old the artists are. His first show was the Alman Bros. and since then we've been to see everyone from Dio-led Black Sabbath to Alice Cooper to Molly Hatchet last year in Knoxville.

With a name like Lakewinnie, maybe you were there too?

wish I was I have seen Molly Hatchet in the past in Chattanooga & Jacksonville though, Lakewinnie is a abbr. of a small local theme park in Rossville Ga ,where I met My Hubby when I worked there ,when I was 16-eons & eons ago LOL

Yes, I know exactly where Lake Winnie is, that's why I said maybe you saw them too--but then again that is still a long drive.

I live less than 40 mins. from Rossville, to the south. Yeah I drove quite a way to see Hatchet and enjoyed every minute of it. My highlight was getting founding member Dave Hlubeks autograph and a photo with him--hellyeah.
