My friend who knows I'm a die-hard Skynyrd fan, called me the other day and was like "dude you gotta hear this." He held the phone up and "Last of A Dyin' Breed" was being blasted at his Marine base. He's like "they're playing Skynyrd!"

It was sweet to hear. Love to hear that people keep the name and band alive!

These posts that appear on here and slam the band, the album name, the band name, etc... and hold no substance? They're always posted by posters who have just joined. So either they make a name just to comment, or they make new accounts to troll this board.

I make a motion that we have some kind of thing where we can vote a post off or whatnot. I need not need come on here and see some dilweed rip on Gary, Rickey, Johnny...or the album...or even the name of the band. If you seriously have that little of a life that you need to troll things just to get a kick...somethings wrong with you...

Now, I know a great deal of Skynyrd knowledge, but I am curious on this.

Hey, I think it'd be kind of a cool idea to compare messages in the songs. I've heard people mention "Skynyrd has changed." I honestly don't see it. They still have a Rossington...a Van Zant...still have a Medlocke...still have music that hits home and that you can identify with.

So in this game, it's pretty simple. All I ask is that you guys pair the Post-'87 Skynyrd's music (song meanings) with the Pre-'77 Skynyrd's music.

I received an email a week ago from this recent Wednesday (a week earlier from the day after the Skynyrd cd was released here in the states), saying my fanpack has shipped. Did anyone else have that email? Anyone receive it yet? I haven't. Hmm.
