Hay,Hay........tenth try to post.....SOMETHING MUST BE DONE....THIS SITE IS NOT WORKING WELL............9 tymes on WOW and now a new post

We are suffering a dose of SKYNYRDITIS.......last Fryday in Montreal...............

Full props to the band for enduring a very difficult evening...BUGS, BUGS and more BUGS......and 100 degree temps

GREAT SHOW....HORRIBLE VENUE

We have to comment that in the past we and others have been very critical of SKYNYRD management...NOT this tyme, its all the venue....AWEFUL......

So many things went wrong....

Here are just a few...
We purchased VIP tics online the very first day they went on sale..150$ each...
on the tickets, clearly stated doors 7PM, but on the website it said doors 5PM......

We arrived at 4:45 to try and get front row....
ONLY to discover that at the door there were 2 new levels of tickets
250$ (rows1-4) and 200$ (rows 5-8) and our tickets were only good for rows 9-12

In the entire VIP area (approx 600 seats)...there were TWO portable toilets............

@To the band ...we understand that the show must go on...THANK YOU

@Boxcar.....thanks for the visit.......

We will never attend another show at that venue again
and find it unlikley that the band would consider repeating such a show.....

Would it be possible to have one of the "GERBILS" make a change to the TOUR PAGE????

For each show there is a "MORE INFO" window...Would it be possible to install an area to create a list of Fan Club members attending each show???? This would allow for us to "P.M." the other FC members and eliminate the need to create a new thread for almost every show.

Just an idea......

3 days, 1000 miles, ONE Great show.......What a roadtrip!!!!!!

Hay, Hay Frynds.....Mrs. H7 and I travelled this past weekend to see SKYNYRD perform at the Senaca Allegany Casino in Salamanca NY.

First thing , we had a VINTAGE show with (unfortunately) no new G&G material, but the show was very true to the OLD show we have all seen, however, we felt that because it is the end of this years tour' all members of the band "PLAYED" it up and had "FUN"....really enjoying themselves!!!!!!!!!!

Secondly, there was NO opening act, and THE show was THE show!!!!!! The sound was SOOOOO Good that in the 4th row we did not require earplugs!!!!!

NOW,NOW,NOW, let me tell everyone about our day......

Early in the afternoon, I had a very casual encounter with Gary, and was able to say a very long overdue "THANK YOU" and was able to talk with him casually for a few minutes, afterwards he told me " WE WILL ROCK IT TONIGHT FOR YOU".............Shortly afterwards my wife saw Micheal and Sparky in the casino area,on their way to sound checks.........AND about a half hour later, she meet Rickey and talked with him, telling him that her husband was a BIG fan, he walked with her across the casino to meet ME!!!!!

To both Mr.Rossington and Mr. Medlocke,THANK YOU for giving us your time, but most of all, for the music that we all enjoy.....and love....

My conversations with both Gary and Rickey, I was very sure to mention that we were Canadian ,were FAN CLUB members and had travelled a great distant and would both be wearing "MISSISSIPPI KID" tees to the shows........

THIS IS IMPORTANT!!!!!!

Early in the show Johnny saw us sitting in the 4th row and pointed at us and patted his heart.....every time he came to our side of the stage he made a point of giving US the sign/ thumbs up and a wave.......

After 'Bama and just before the intro to FREEBIRD, Johnny talked about family,Skynyrd Nation, the fallen members and pointed at my wife and said the "TRUE SKYNYRD FANS ARE THE REAL SKYNYRD NATION"...and then announced FREEBIRD.......

At the half way point,when Johnny throws the mikestand off stage, I stood up on my chair, perhaps 15 feet in front of Sparky, AND.... he STOPPED..............in the middle of FREEBIRD............pointed at me with both hands and patted his heart,........... BECAUSE I WAS WEARING THE "MISSISSIPPI KID" tee............never missing a beat he continued and finished.........................and THEN pointed at us again..............

We may never have another show like this, but ............


TODAY....WE ARE PART OF THE SKYNYRD NATION........AND THE EXTENDED SKYNYRD FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
