To me, this songs sounds like old Skynyrd from the 70's more so than any other of the JVZ Skynyrd songs. Its a real good tune, they really did a good job of bringing back thier roots. has a sweet home alabama feel to it. any one else get that same impression?

Gods and Guns is probably the best JVZ Skynyrd album, it is leagues ahead of their stuff from the ninties (Last Rebel, 1991, ect...) The new album is heavier, better song writing, and better arrangment of tunes. Viscous cycle was a good album, but it seems the band stepped it up a notch with this one, just to bad Billy Powell still isnt around. only comment i have is that if Johnny smokes , he should really lay off the ciggarettes.
