As an old guy who has followed the band since ?? uh forever, the modern Skynyrd, with the nice new website, the best southern rock, still !!!! New band members, and who knows what may be in store, as time moves on, has again surpassed what is expected. The music is of course, Lynyrd Skynyrd in every respect, but I'm finding some real refreshing licks, hooks, harmonys, this and thats, and junk in the trunk, on Gods n' Guns. As we older folks deal with todays technology and crap (growin old ain't for pussys) the band just keeps on goin, giving us one of those threads we hang to, that keeps the better things of the past alive. For all the oldsters, and youngsters that make up the "Skynyrd Nation", we are one blessed group to have these guys and gals still kickin out the jams for us. From the new members to the old newer members, the originals, and every picker, pounder, singer, and roadie thats been a part of LS. (There is only one Ricky Medlocke, go explore and find out) SIMPLY THANKS. Life wouldn't have been the same without ya...So Long for now...K
