I agree with all of you. I seriously consdered not renewing, which would have been easy since my credit card expiration date had changed, but I held out hope we'd get the pre-sales. Now I am only in it for the Frynds.

I joined the Joe Bonamassa fan club which was FREE!!!!!! so I could get pre-sales for his shows too. I signed up the same day that a presale was happening in a city I could get to and when I e-mailed them for the presale code, their fan club management sent it to me w/in 15 minutes! Now how's that for service!! I got 3rd row tickets about an hour and 15 minutes after the pre-sale started. I was a very happy rocker! The fans on that site, however, would not help a newbie out w/pre-sale codes - they kept spouting off about scalpers. I can appreciate that danger, but they were no help. So I opted out of getting e-mail updates from the postings and am just sticking to basic stuff. All for FREE, FREE, FREE!!!!

AA - are you reading us??? I did post on JB's fan club pages that the company who runs his site, was much more user friend and helpful than this fan club management.

So glad you asked this question. Is anyone else upset about getting the same T-Shirt for the third year? Questioned it last year but was oh well, I'll just give it to a friend of mine but for the third year in a row, come on, how hard is it to change the design on a T-shirt? When I sent Artist Arena an email about it, they basically told me I was SOL. I think it's time the band checked into new management for their fan club because this company is not representing the greatest band ever as they should be represented!

I didn't renew my membership years ago ;( ... this is not a true fan club site !!!! I am very disappointed with it ... but the people here are real and are true Skynyrd fans and I cherish everyone I have met here who are the REAL Skynyrd Nation ! .... My heart is breakin how a lot of things aren't like they use to be ....

@Loco4Rickey: I tell ya girl, I really dont think AA (Allthose Assholes) know wat is goin on. Ya would think that ther would be a little better communicatin between tha powers at be. I really dont think tha right hand knows wat tha left is doin.(pickin ther nose). As far as tha T-shirts..........THATS PURDY FRIGGIN LAME.....dont ya think??? I hear you guys. part of the reason i joined was for pre-sale opportunities and good seats. I bought Memphis tickets (31 August show) the second they went on sale and my only only choice was on the LAWN!! I am with several bands fan clubs and ALL of the other sites allow fan club members to have first dibs on great seats. Some casual fan off the street will have better tickets than me!

Someone mentioned backstage/VIP passes; that needs to be standardized. Most bands have a standard time alloted for 20-30 fans to come back stage for autographs and pictures every show..not just random ones.


If Artist Arena would just set some procedures in stone, and make being a fan club member somehow beneficial, everything would be fine.
