Happy Fathers Day to all in Skynyrd Nation. Been of the radar for couple weeks but spending the day with my youngest (30yrs old) this weekend thought Id check and see how yall were doing. Words of Wisdom to all the true fans of the Nation. I tell people the best therapy in the world is listening to Skynyrd all day. this week was disc 1 of the box set been listen to mostly the older stuff but going to start with Last Rebel and Viscous Cycle and 1991 this week. The negative ones bother me too but I just turn to the music seems to make everything all right. Just thinking about it has me excited have not listened to the line up mentioned earlier for sometime now. My song for the day would be, Am I Losin, Roll Gyspy Roll, and Needle and the Spoon and You Got that Right. Yeah we are lucky...Less than 3 weeks,Skynyrd (in Montreal) on a Fryday,with our good frynd Loco4Rickey
and then TTB (in Ottawa) on the next Tuesday....

Only thing...Susan and Derek are on a small stage and at the same tyme, on the main stage is Snoop Dogg...
You heard me right....Snoop Dogg headlining at a Bluesfest!!!!!

I was thinking about the lack of tour info....new album.....tour dates....all that kinda stuff

THEN THE LIGHTS WENT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not only do SKYNYRD have a new album, due for release in August,

BUT ZZ TOP has a new CD due in the fall

NOW I'm not a VOODOO Prince

but it makes me think that JUST maybe the two teams are teaming up for a fall/winter tour??

I wrote yesterday that I think that there will be a TOUR after the release of the new CD....
It only makes sense that the boyz tour in support of the album.......

I'm hoping that in Montreal (July 6th) that they give us a sneak preview of one of the new songs off the new album.........
