Bob is doing pretty well after the death of his wife.I get to talk to him about once every couple of months,if I get lucky.Gene stays in touch with him constantly(Odom).His daughters look after him and he has several of his local posse around at most times.He admits he still has issues but he is still a wiseass.He still gets up around the crack of 2 in the afternoon and will keep you laughing if you can reach him.My family shared a table in 2006 for the RRHOF with Bob ,Ed and Artimus.Bob was hilarious and very gracious to all the fans.He never fails to make them welcome or refuses to sign.And,he never trash talks!Others would do well to follow his example and I know yall get what I mean.I wish Gary and the former drummers would see time is short and do what all fans would cherish!Ed played his last public appearance in Nashville earlier this year with Unknown Hinson.Check it out.
