Rickey has reformed Blackfoot

Just surfin' around and found out that the new "old" Blackfoot that had Charlie and Greg in the band is no more. However, Rickey has formed a "new" new Blackfoot with totally new members........and he isn't in the band. Go to blackfootband.com for details.

Not so strange, it was time and Rickey is totally behind the new version of Blackfoot. He hand picked them all and did a damn good job. He even played and sang on their first song.

In my mind they are "Blackfoot 2.0", as Blackfoot could never be the same w/o Rickey singing and playing lead, but the new music is good - IMHO. I am willing to give this Blackfoot a chance - unlike the previous incarnation w/C.H.! I am sure there will be folks who disagree and that's your right. I'm loving that Rickey is spreading his wings. Now if we Darkhorse fans could just get another solo album from him!

Who knows, if ever Rickey is in the same zip code as the band, they just might play together. Now wouldn't that be something!! Do check out their website.
