Live at the Garden Postpones Friday 8/31 Show

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LIVE AT THE GARDEN POSTPONES TONIGHT’S CONCERT

Memphis, TN, August 31, 2012 – Due to the threat of severe weather and predicted wind gusts in the Memphis area, the Lynyrd Skynyrd concert scheduled for tonight has been re‐scheduled for Wednesday, September 12.

“Our first priority is always the safety of our patrons, and the potentially unsafe conditions created by this storm system, with the forecasted rain and especially the high wind gusts gave us no other choice,” according to Jim Duncan, Executive Director of Memphis Botanic Garden.

“We are delighted that we were able to re‐schedule in that this will be a fun and entertaining show.” Duncan continued.

Johnny Van Zant, of Lynyrd Skynyrd, says, “We are disappointed to hear about Memphis being rescheduled but look forward to the new show in September. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone for their safety during the storms. We look forward seeing our Skynyrd Nation in Memphis soon!”

Refund procedures for those patrons unable to attend the September date will be posted on www.liveatthegarden.com next week.
