Gods and Guns is probably the best JVZ Skynyrd album, it is leagues ahead of their stuff from the ninties (Last Rebel, 1991, ect...) The new album is heavier, better song writing, and better arrangment of tunes. Viscous cycle was a good album, but it seems the band stepped it up a notch with this one, just to bad Billy Powell still isnt around. only comment i have is that if Johnny smokes , he should really lay off the ciggarettes. |

I think Johnny's voice sounds superb on this.Ain't it funny?!?Beautiful voice...best vocal ever on his Skynyrd albums....in my opinion. |
