they really seemed to be hitting there stride at the time of the crash.Stones big?not sure but I think they would have come out with many more albums and become one of the biggest and best bands ever. |

Who knows how big. Some think the band went out at the top as Southern rock was beginning to wane. How would Skynyrd have changed with the times? Would they have gone disco like the Stones did in an attempt to roll with times? Doubtful Ronnie would have since he said in Jacksonville Kid that you can keep your disco and high heeled boys. Ronnie apparently did not like the changes he was witnessing in music at the time of his death. Who knows how big they could have been or where they would have gone if the plane crash had not happened. All speculation at this point. |
