I usually dont ask for permission for anything or seek guidance on what's right or wrong, but short of a few important people in my life, I have the upmost respect for Skynyrd.

So with that in mind...

I have some short 8mm clips with no sound of Skynyrd in Denver Colorado '76 at the Colorado Sunday number 2 concert. Daniels, Tucker, et al.

Q1) Is it cool to post these on the web?
Q2) Where is the best place to post Skynyrd Clips on the web?
Q3) Is it cool to dub in music to these clips? or should it be "as is" or both?
Q4) Is this concert already available in some vault somewhere? I searched yet didn't find anywhere.

I really dont want to randomly post in Outer"youtube"Space only to be swallowed up by vast unawareness...they are much to special (to me) to post like that.

The reason I am asking is I don't want to break any established protocols like, for example....
The official MF'in Skynyrd Video Clip Upload Rules...lol Again, sincerely, it's all about respect.

....and no, you ain't see these b4, they are from the stands in Mile High Stadium from our family 8mm camera.

Hey man it sounds like you have some very interesting video clips. These are bootleg clips so it is cool to post them on the web. As far as the best place to post these I guess it would depend on how long each clip is. If you have a video of the whole concert then Dimeadozen.org is a pretty good place. But you have to know how to seed torrents and such. If they are little video clips honestly the best place to put them would be youtube. You really would get the most appreciation from people there. Just put a watermark on the video or something if you are worried about people stealing it. But if you want to show the world what you have then there is always risk of people stealing.

Its great to see that someone wants to put their Skynyrd stuff out there for all fans to see instead of telling everyone you have it but never showing anyone. Thank you (Collins Rocks) for your detailed reply....and "You Got That Right" I have wanted to share these for a long time for others fans to see. I am decent at editing so I will add some music. As I am new to posting I never thought of advertising the link from y-tube to the target audience, in this case, this Skynyrd site. So with that in mind, its time to edit and post. I will get a sample up soon and announce it here as you suggested....

The seats we had to this concert were three rows behind the seats my family had for 10 Denver Bronco Seasons...not that anyone cares, but you can't forget something like that.

I am so excited to see a new Skynyrd 70's video clip. Just make sure you save the one without the edited in music on your computer for yourself as it will be more collectible that way. Thanks again man and like you said just post the link here when you get it all uploaded and the rest will be done by everyone else. Anything new that has to do with 70's Skynyrd spreads like wildfire. I just want to warn you that there will be people that will try to make people think your video is their own so just keep that in mind. If you can put a small watermark on it it would help you. But keep a copy for yourself on the computer that is completely original. I can't stress that enough. Dang I am so excited.

Yeah, I thought this might come into play, someone claiming the footage was their own. I still have the 8mm copy and the concert is in the same reel as our family vacations.

My brother had a certain knack for making items magically disappear on camera, a camera trick, he did this on a few instances in our family 8 mm's, and will be apparant in the Skynyrd - Sunday #2 clips (a cop disappears...very funny.) A styling cue that is/was his own at the time and one he used in the concert footage, and for an amateur, in the 70's... pretty cool stuff IMO. This will make sense when u watch the clip.

..but I guess I should get frustrated now.

So to anyone claiming my family videos are you own - well a big eff u in advance.

One more thing. Looks like the date of this concert was March 1, 1976. Pretty cool as it was a 6 man band at the time. ( 9 if you count the Honkettes). I always loved this period of time in between Ed leaving and Steve joining. Some of my favorite live concerts they did were during this period of time. It just let Allen and Gary show a little more of what they have. And I like Freebird better too because Allen was the only one soloing and it was just the "Freebird Solo" with no one playing off of it. neat stuff

And...back then...Tucker and Daniels albums were in the ROCK section of the music stores because they were ROCK stars.
