This is classic, unforgettable Skynyrd. Big, old school headphones. This album propped on my knees, sitting on my variegated green, hi-lo shag carpeting, lost to the music. Beauty in the execution, more than music - the feeling of being free, wild and innocent, all at the same time. Good times.

I never heard one Lynyrd Skynyrd song I DON'T love the shit out of. I play guitar and can play most of their songs. It is hard by yourself to play any Skynyrd song on one guitar and have it sound anything close to the studio version , of course. They ALL sound good anyway you play them though. I was always just friggin' blown away by that signature Lynyrd Skynyrd trio guitar attacks on their first three albums. Then, when Ed King left the band, Gimme Back My Bullets came out, but then it was a two guitar attack. It worked just fine. Then Steve Gaines was drawn in, by an act of God or something, and that worked just fine too. Some folks say BULLETS was their shittiest album. Fuck off, Skynyrd didn't make shitty albums. Barry Manilow, Motorhead, ALL (C)RAP "Music" and Marilyn Manson make shitty albums. Sorry, but it's why they call it "Freedom of Speech". If yaz don't like it, don't read it. That's it, I promise.

As great as this album is, there is (IMHO) so many other Great songs that were left out. (Sigh) I guess that there just wasn't enough room. "One More Time" and "Am I Losing" are just a couple that didn't get enough praise and exposure that they deserved. Those of us that had the privledge of growing up in N. and Central Florida (Daytona Beach) during the '70s' got to experience what Ronnie was trying to relay.
