Working part time farming this spring I was planting soybeans. I had never done this before and the guy I was working for told me if everything goes well you can plant 50 acres a day, the drill is 15 feet wide. The tractor had a cd player but I had not tried using in fear of screwing up my cds. This day I was in a 108 acre field with long rows so I put God and Guns in and never skipped a beat, listened to it all day and planted 65 acres a new record for this farm. For all you wondering how this relates to Lynyrd Skynyrd for me this is living the Simple Life. I use to make 70000 a yr as a qaulity manager gave it up to for maybe 30000 a yr and ride in tractor play in the dirt and mud get oil and grease stained hands watch wild turkey and deer all day and work 5 to 9 instead of 9 to 5. @prez. rusty: Glad to hear from you being the prez. and all. How's the growing weather on the west coast here in southern Mi. we were wet early then got dry everyone's got irrigation going and sucking the river dry. From earlier post someone asked if you look like Ted Nugent, I like women but I'd say your much better looking and sport one hell set pipes. If I can make it to west coast we need to hook sounds like y'all have way to much fun. Plus got to meet Nuthin Fancy that's my favorite album. Your friend in southern rock Leonard_50 |
