[Pinned] Band spelling etc.....

The closest to a signature I have of Lynyrd Skynyrd is from LEONARD SKINNER himself, who pulled out a check and voided it but signed his name. I remember looking at him inside Publix and going, "I know y... LEONARD SKINNER!!!!!!" He was the coolest, most laid back fella and so kind to me. I attended Robert E. Lee where he taught at and told him I'd ask Coach Big Barrett every day to tell me stories about the gang and he just laughed.

I do believe I've misspelled Lynyrd Skynyrd quite a few times in my lifetime, but Firefox knows better these days to question me with the red squiggly lines what the hell am I talking about lol.

Long live the memory of those boys from Jacksonville's Westside of town who helped stamp Southern Rock into Rock 'N Roll History.

I hear the "whos leonard?" thing all the time. The way I think is that at least these people care enough to find out the band members are. I simply them the Leonard Skinner gym teacher story. Heck I did the same thing myself. I agree %100 with what everything you guys are saying.
Personally, I have a terrible time with spelling. It doesn't mean that I do not respect the person.

"Lynyrd Skynyrd" - yeah, I've talked about LS long enough to get it into my head. It's weird, since the correct way to spell it is something 'incorrect'.
(Yes, it has been added to the dictionary in Firefox and Word - already had done it, but good idea.)

Thanks for the tip, Paul - Skynyrd is one of the most underrated classic rock bands. We in Skynyrd Nation know better.

What rock lost in 10/77 was no less than what it lost in 2/59.
